Ferguson said: “I’m sure it’s a target for him. I don’t think that matters for him at the moment though. I’m sure he doesn’t go out at the start of the season thinking that way. But as the season progresses like it did two years ago, when the target was to get over 30, he reached it very quickly and ended the season with 34 goals.”

Capello Warned Rooney About Having Usual Form

England manager Fabio Capello must have thought that he has given Wayne Rooney enough time to be in his usual form and that it was high time to warn him about it. Just recently, the manager warned Rooney to really try to have his usual form otherwise he will not allow him to play.

Capello believed that Rooney has been having problems with his form. Rooney was only able to score a goal after actually not doing really well in the World Cup.

Capello said: “If he’s (in form) I’ll play him, otherwise no. For anything else, you’ve got to ask (Manchester United manager Sir Alex) Ferguson.”

For Capello, Rooney needs to have his usual form first before he is able to play. According to the manager, they have some good young players and they will have some experiments with these players in no time. Rooney should have his usual form or he will be surmounted by one of these players.

Capello said in addition: “We have good young players, a good Under 21 squad that has qualified for the European Championship and a great Under 19 side. There’s going to be some experiments with players in the next two friendlies.”

Well, Rooney might be having some personal problems which have been affecting his form. He has already proven himself a great football player. He must be really having some personal problems. May he be able to overcome whatever personal problems he may be having which have been affecting his form. His club needs him with his usual form. But he will make it for sure. No doubt, he is a one strong man. Maybe he just needs more time to work on them and then have his usual form. He will surely make it, maybe just more time for him.
