Yes, because of the departure of Sven Goran Eriksson from Notts County, a new betting market opens. In fact, there are certain odds that are now set in regards to the future of the former England manager following his separation from the English team.

The popular sports betting firm Sky Bet set odds of 4/6 for the Eriksson to come back to international management, this is indeed just after the team was taken over by Rat Trew who is a former Lincoln City chairman.

“Eriksson has plenty of international experience so he’s sure to be in demand ahead of the World Cup, but there’s always a possibility he could be tempted back into club management,” said bookmakers’ football betting spokesman Andy Clarke.

The spokesman also said that the Notts County is currently with some unpaid tax bills and insufficient funds for plays, therefore is most likely not capable of progressing to the Premier League. For him, it seems like a “distant dream” for the English team to actually reach the said league.

But of course, sometimes it pays to expect the unexpected. Even the things we don’t imagine to happen can happen so we never know, Notts County may become capable of. Most especially if the person to take over his position is experienced enough, the English team may become promising. Let us just hope for the best for Notts County.

Meanwhile, Sky Bet makes the man available at odds of 7/1 to get the management role in the 2009/10 Premier League while available at odds of 20/1 to handle a Championship side. It seems that for the sports betting firm, he is competent to take a management role. Well, he actually seems to have the ability to do so but let us find out what really he has got when he finally takes such one role.
