Woods the Favorite to Win US Open

One of the much-awaited golf events of the year is the US Open that will take place at the Pebble Beach. It is indeed anticipated by many as it is going to feature the best golfers like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Lee Westwood.

Woods has the title favorite, with odds of 15/2. The next popular bet is Mickelson with 8/1, and then followed by Westwood with 11/1. The odds are available from famous sports betting firm Bet365.

Well, for many the US Open of the year will be about just the three golfers. However, there will be as many as 128 players who will actually try their luck at the Pebble Beach.

Lucas Glover, winner of last year’s tournament, will be present at the Pebble Beach and will actually try to make it against everyone else. However, they’re maybe just thinking about the golfer’s misfortune in five events. But then the golfer’s eagerness on a US Open title win is something worth considering. The title could make it easy for him to catch up with Woods at the top of the rankings.
