William Hill Revealed Its 2010 FA Cup Odds
William Hill finally revealed its 2010 FA Cup odds. This weekend’s third round ties may have pushed the bookmakers to the limits and so finally revealed its odds for the much-awaited event of this year.
The current champions of the FA Cup, Chelsea, are 3/1 favorites to win the same title in May after their win against Watford, 5-0 on Sunday. While Arsenal, which currently are still eager to have their first silverware since their 2005 FA Cup win, are 11/2 second favorites to win the said competition. Liverpool then at 6/1.
Aside from the three big teams, there is another team that William Hill included on their list. There is the Manchester City, the newly-rich, listed at 13/2 to be successful at Wembley this coming May.
While the Leeds United, which prevailed over Premier League champions Manchester United on Sunday, listed at 9/2 to overcome the North London side and at 1/8 to make it through to the fifth round.
And to make Fabio Capello’s 2010 World Cup squad, goalscorer Jermaine Beckford listed at 50/1.
We are all still months away from the big event. Months away before we finally know what team will really prevail in this year’s FA Cup. It can be Chelsea, which indeed in high hopes of keeping the FA Cup trophy for long. It can also be Arsenal, which at present still in chase for their first silverware since their 2005 FA Cup victory. And it can also be Liverpool, that always runs after significant recognition. Of course, it can also be Manchester City, team considered as newly-rich.
We really don’t know at this point what team will dominate the 2010 FA Cup. All we can do is to just wait and see.
