He is one of the oldest chess players on earth that is still active and playing in matches. He has his father to thank for his love of the game. He started playing at the young age of seven and he has not stopped since. He decided that he should join the Chess Club in 1943.

Viktor Lvovich Korchnoi has earned many titles in his years of playing. He is one of the few legends in chess. What has Viktor Lvovich Korchnoi done recently to get him in the spotlight? He just won a famous tournament in the England V Netherlands match. He has gained the respect of a lot of people and has lots of fans all over.

At one point in his career, Viktor Lvovich Korchnoi decided that he wanted to go and get rich in the city. In order to do that, he had to stop playing chess. He must of missed it or had a hard time making money out in the city. He returned when he was in his fifties, and the chess world embraced him once again.

He has shown such style and class when he plays. All of them missed him when he stopped and they are grateful that he decided to return. Chess would not be chess without him. People who play Chess claim that he is their hero and that they only hope to be just like him one day.

Whenever you see Viktor Lvovich Korchnoi, you can make a safe bet on him and know that your chances of winning that bet will be really high. The ones who must compete against him know that they are up against some really heavy competition.
