Two Top Teams in the English Premier League Delivered Convincing Weekend Victories
The weekend after Christmas was really a good one for the two top teams in the English Premier League, Arsenal FC and Manchester United FC. Both teams can be remembered battling with their form for months but in the weekend after Christmas had convincing victories which brought them even closer to Chelsea FC, the leader when it comes to the league standings.
For the success of Arsenal FC at the Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, the manager popular for frowning, was seen by some individuals squeezing out a smile or two. He gave his tired frown lines rest after the team dispatched Aston Villa FC by 3-0.
In the English Premier League, the Gunners are sitting third with 38 points. They’ve been doing good but not until they dominated Aston Villa that they did even better. Aston Villa currently at fourth spot with 35 points. Cesc Fabregas was the man of the game. This Arsenal Captain, in the 65th minute, just 8 minutes after coming on the field in the second half, made a superb goal.
Fabregas went through some physical troubles because of his hamstring injury but good thing he was able to help out his team with his amazing goal. He actually opened the score line of his team.
Without a doubt, Fabregas was a big part of the success of Arsenal over Aston Villa FC.
While another team successful was Manchester United FC that defeated Hull City 3-0. The team realized the importance of regaining confidence with a significant win and so gave it all against Hull City that has been fighting off relegation and also chasing for same kind of win.
