The English Premier League Standings Just Proportional to the Teams’ Form During the Season

English-Premier-LeagueThe English Premier League standings have been just proportional to the teams’ form during the season. Therefore, it was not surprising to see certain high ranking teams dominating low ranking teams in certain English Premier League games a fortnight ago.

We can just consider what happened in the game between Arsenal that has been lying joint second with Chelsea with 61 points and Burnley which has been nineteenth placer with 23 points and up for possible relegation. Just as expected, the Gunners dispatched the Clarets 3-1.

The fans of both teams were not most likely surprised by the result of the game as they might have considered their bet’s standing in the league and that it could just tell how their bet would play in the game. However, with what Theo Walcott has showed, they were most likely surprised then. The 20-year-old winger of the Gunners showed really good performance to become the star of the game and to prove Chris Waddle wrong to call him as “lacking a football brain” prior the game.

The young Gunners’ winger no doubt has showed a really good performance. Something that’s worth mentioning is that he has actually set up a lot of goal opportunities for his teammates before making a goal himself.

Walcott did well in their game against Burnley but Arsenal in general, has been in good form and so just so capable of winning against the Clarets.

While Everton that has been lying eight in the English Premier League has been also in good form and so just so capable then of winning against Hull City particularly 5-1. Everton has been lying eighth with 41 points and Hull City eighteenth and also up for possible relegation. The standing of the teams in the English Premier League could have given the fans idea of the possible outcome of the game between the two and this nothing else being Everton just being so capable of dispatching Hull City.
