Robertson the Favorite to Win 2010 World Snooker Championship Final

Neil RobertsonThe 2010 World Snooker Championship Final has been one of the most anticipated events of snooker fans. And finally, these fans rejoiced Monday when they could already enjoy it.

Graeme Dott and Neil Robertson were the players who made it then in the semi-finals of 33 frames. Both players played at their best in the semi-finals. Robertson played so well in game against Alli Carter and indeed won 17- 12 against the English professional snooker player. While Dott made it 17-14 against Mark Selby. And because of their accomplishment in the semi-finals, they made it to the 2010 World Snooker Championship Final.

The former champion, Dott, of course has the ability to win the big event. However, sports betting firms, days before the said event, set Australian Robertson as the favorite with odds around the 4/6 mark. And Dott was actually priced at 11/10.

The sports betting firms most likely just had the right bet. Robertson won 2010 World Snooker Championship Final, he beaten Dott 18-13 in big event.

But Robertson found it incredible. He said to BBC Sport after the event, “This is absolutely incredible.” He was granted the check of £250,000 for his achievement.

While Dott said, “He was far and away the better player – how I managed to get 13 frames I don’t know. I am obviously disappointed to lose in the final and not really perform. But I needed to get to the semi-finals to get back in the top 16 and I have played really well, so hopefully I will be back for next next year.”

Dott was really disappointed to not make in the final event. However, he said that he played very well and so was able to be back in the top 16 and for achieving such, he might have also felt glad.
