Result of the Game Between Manchester United and Birmingham Was a Surprise to Many Football Fans

Yes, the result of the game between Manchester United and Birmingham which took place last weekend, was indeed a surprise to many football fans. The result then was a draw, the score being tied at 1-1.

The game happened on a Saturday at St Andrews Stadium and a lot of football fans came to see it. Those who came then were mostly fans of the two teams, Manchester United and Birmingham.

But the fans who anticipated a very good game and result were surprised with the 1-1 final score. Particularly those who have foreseen Red Devils dispatching the Blues were stunned with the game and its outcome.

For many, Birmingham is the less skillful team however is the more confident one when compared to the other team, the Manchester United. And during the Saturday game, this team used its own edge to tie the game at 1-1.

Undoubtedly, Birmingham just played with confidence for the sake of their fans, and showed real dedication to win despite the team’s weakness. And the team just didn’t mind opponent’s mammoth reputation and fierce manager.

Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United, can be remembered chewing his gum faster than usual as he was most likely very stressed then. His jaw moved up and down faster during the entire game, feeling for his team for the great efforts of Birmingham to bring them all down.

In the final whistle, the score was finally tied at 1-1 just right after an unfortunate goal from Scott Dann of Birmingham. Fans then were mixed emotions, they were surprised that no team solely dominated the game. United fans were not happy that their team didn’t make it against defense of opponent. Same as the Birmingham fans which were in anticipation then that their team will make it with their confidence and dedication to win. But anything can really happen.
