Portsmouth Manager the Favorite to be the Next West Ham United Manager

A book was opened by online bookmakers for the next manager of West Ham United after Gianfranco Zola departed recently. And the odds coming along were also unveiled. Odds of 4/9 were revealed to be for the Portsmouth manager as favorite for the role, odds of 6/1 for former Hammer, Croatia boss to be the next manager and same odds 6/1 for ex-Blackburn and Manchester City gaffer to get the position.

The Portsmouth manager was set as the favorite to have the role. Some might have been just wishing the best for the manager. But of course, there were others to be considered as well.

“We had thought Avram Grant was a certainty for the Hammers hot seat but betters now seem to think differently,” said Sky Bet’s Helen Jacob.

Slaven Bilic, former Hammer, Croatia boss, was also said to be with odds for the important West Ham United position. He has got 6/1 from 14/1 because of some supporters.

While Mark Hughes, ex-Blackburn and Manchester City gaffer, was set to be also in the betting for the West Ham United role. Odds of 6/1 were also for Hughes.

Zola, for two seasons, managed the club just right. And he had the reason or reasons for sure for leaving.

Well, we still don’t know who will really be the next West Ham United manager. And this seems now interesting for us. It may just be Grant, Bilic or Hughes. And it may just be another personality in the sport.

Hopefully, pretty soon we’d know who will really be the next West Ham United manager after Zola. However we might not be surprised anymore with the revelation. It might be just one of the personalities we’ve mentioned, but it might not be as well therefore there is a possibility that we also be surprised.
