New Betting Market Opens After Mowbray Departed

Tony MowbrayAfter Tony Mowbray departed from the Glasgow team Celtic, a new betting market opens. And such betting market has something to do with the best possible man to win over Mowbray’s previous position with Celtic.

Mowbray actually left the team on Monday after the shocking defeat of Celtic to St. Mirren and Neil Lennon was appointed after as the caretaker manager for the remainder of the 2009-10 season. Lennon then appointed former team-mate Johan Mjällby as his assistant.

However, bettors may find it interesting to make predictions at the earliest possible time in regards to the next full-time manager of the Scottish football team. Thus, William Hill opted to open a new betting market involving the next full-time manager of Celtic.

Now the odds to consider are 4/1 for Lennon together with Paul Lambert, odds of 7/1 for ex-Manchester City manager Mark Hughes and odds of 9/1 for Ipswich Town’s Roy Keane to be the next full-time manager of the said team.

For a more unlikely bet, odds to consider are 200/1 for John Barnes to return as full-time manager of Celtic.

But as what we have said, a lot of things can happen. And Lennon and Johan Mjällby might just bring the team to success and so eventually might just be perfect for the team and for the many seasons it has to face still.

Lennon might actually just end up being the next full-time manager of Celtic after Mowbray. But naturally, we don’t know what’s going to happen in the near future. He might just end up being the next full-time manager of Celtic after Mowbray but might not as well. It might be another candidate, say might be Mark Hughes or say Roy Keane, or may be some others not mentioned in here. Anyone can actually be!
