Nadal Not the Favorite to Win US Open

Some fans of Rafael Nadal were just surprised with the revelation on the tennis player not being the favorite to win the US Open. Some fans of the tennis superstar were surprised because their favorite actually just won the Wimbledon title. Nadal seemed just in good form to actually be able to win such title.

The US Open will be the next major tournament that tennis enthusiasts will see. It will start in late August in New York.

However, Nadal was revealed not to be the favorite for the upcoming tennis tournament. Instead, Swiss star Roger Federer was unveiled to be the favorite with 5/2 odds with several sports betting companies.

The Swiss was then followed by Nadal with 3/1. And then next was revealed to be British hope Andy Murray who got odds of 7/2.

Others worth noting as part of the betting market on who will win the upcoming US Open include Serbian Novak Djokovic with 8/1, Robin Soderling with 10/1, and of course John Isner with 66/1.

The US Open is one of the huge tennis tournaments. And so even though for many it was not going to be an event that will take place too soon, they still became so into it. Many indeed thought of who will win the US Open. And it was revealed that not Nadal instead another tennis player.

But naturally, the US Open will take place still in late August. The favorite for the event might still change. And actually though it will not even until late August, still it will depend on Nadal, on how the player will actually perform. He can still perform very well though not the favorite and then win the major tournament. It will still depend on how the player will actually play in the big tournament, in the US Open.
