Manchester United Now 2/1 Second Favorites to Win the Premier League

Manchester United - 1The betting for the winner of one of the most anticipated football leagues, the Premier League, has once again got the attention of many sports betting enthusiasts as defending champions Manchester United odds for the title were actually cut downfrom 9/4 to 2/1 second favorites to win the league title. Bookmaker William Hill considered certain things for the slashing of odds of the said champions.

United turned victorious over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford Tuesday night, thus paving the way for the club to move level on points with Chelsea that hosted Wednesday’s Portsmouth of former manager Avram Grant.

At this point, Chelsea are favorites to win the Premier League, backed at 8/11. And Aston Villa, with odds being cut down from 100/1 to 66/1.

While Rafa Benitez claims that his side will finish in the top four. And William Hill didn’t fail to respond to the claims of the Liverpool’s manager. The Merseyside club are 6/5 to actually be while otherwise, are 8/13.

Spokesperson of William Hill, Graham Sharpe, indeed said, “Rafa is making himself a hostage to fortune by making risky predictions of this nature”.

For Sharpe, the bookmaker was far from believing that what Benitez claims is indeed true. But of course, anything can happen and the Premier League will still go quiet a long way. Benitez’s side might get a good chance to finish in the top four. But they might not as well. Anything can really happen.

Everyone has its own stand with regards to things that might take place. It is understandable why William Hill came into saying that Benitez’s side are not likely to come out successful. We must all be given due respect particularly when it comes to our opinions, after all, they are just opinions.
