Lowery’s Irish Open Odds Revealed

Shane Lowery was reported recently to be going to the well-known Killarney Golf and Fishing Club with enough confidence that he will be able to defend the title he won last year as an amateur. Well, he can just be positive about defending the said title for he has already established himself as a good, experienced golfer at number 82 in the World Rankings. However, the bookmakers just gave him little hope of being able to defend the title. Paddy Power Bookmakers actually just offered 33/1 odds on him to be successful.

The bookmakers seemed to have preferred others like Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell. McIlroy was made the favorite to go home victorious and McDowell was made second favorite.

In the first round of the Open Championship at St Andrews, McIlroy indeed played so well. And because of his effort back at St Andrews, he was installed at number 8 in the World Rankings.

McIlroy, for some sports betting enthusiasts, deserved to be given odds of 7/1 by Paddy Power. He seemed really capable of winning the title.

And McDowell has been considered as one of the best golfers in the world. He has the ability as well to make it at Killarney. He has good accomplishments as golfer and he seemed capable of having more.

McDowell, for some sports betting fanatics, also deserved to receive odds of 14/1. He appeared worthy of the odds with his ability to win the title.

Aside from the ones mentioned, golfer like Padraig Harrington will of course also be at Killarney to try to win the title. The ‘Major’ winner seemed also prepared for the great battle and was given the odds of 16/1 by Paddy Power to be actually successful.
