Latest Premier League Title Odds Revealed

The famous sports betting firm Sky Bet has just revealed its latest Premier League title odds following the recent surprises in the events leading to the league final.

At the moment, Chelsea is at the top of their game, taking the top spot in the 2009/10 Premier League standings. However, the team had a 2-1 defeat at the Goodison Park. While Manchester United, though played an hour and so with ten good men after elimination of Nani, got a point away to Aston Villa of Martin O’Neill. And Arsenal had a 1-0 win against Liverpool at the well known Emirates. And therefore, with all these, Sky Bet set the odds at 7/2 that the 2009/10 Premier League will be settled on a goal difference.

“With so many twists and turns and teams at the top and bottom fighting for every point it does look like this year’s Premier League title will be won by the narrowest of margins,” said Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Dale Tempest.

Chelsea, which presently tops the table, is ahead of Manchester United by single point, while Arsenal is behind of another five points. The odds are at 100/30 for the title to be won by a single point.

For Portsmouth to be relegated, the huge sports betting firm William Hill offers odds of 1/16. Earlier this month, the Blues played against Manchester United however earned a 5-0 defeat against the said team. But many were glad with how the English men played then though they actually lost.
