Hamilton Disappointed With Podium Finish Not Happening

Reports revealed that Lewis Hamilton admitted he was disappointed with podium finish also not happening. He also wished he will be there on the podium even with Jenson Button but ended up missing the chance to. But he was also happy in away with fine form of MP4-26 also being there.

Hamilton said: “I felt on it all weekend and I was naturally disappointed not to be standing on the podium with Jenson after the race. The Hungaroring is one of my favourite circuits; I’ve won there twice before and we had the speed to win there again. However, what we need to take away from Hungary is that the team has won two races in the last eight days, so the MP4-26 is a competitive package. We’ve pushed really hard to bring performance back to the car. They’ve done an incredible job across the organization.”

Hamilton really wanted the podium finish to just happen. He really wished it will and even with Button but he failed to also have the chance to make it happen. But he also understood that it can’t also happen. And he tried to also feel good even with the reality on some things not meant for him to just enjoy. And he can just think of the fine form of MP4-26 which was and will be really helpful. For the racing driver, the podium finish was not there but the good form of MP4-26 was and therefore can also feel good. There was a good thing that also happened there.

Hamilton, in addition, said: “The pace in the car is there now, as demonstrated by the two victories, my fastest lap in Germany and our quali pace at both ‘Rings. We’re in a strong position and we will be working hard to maximise that speed when we get back.”
