Favorite to Win 2010 Wimbledon Tennis Men’s Singles Revealed

Roger FedererThe favorite to win the 2010 Wimbledon Tennis Men’s Singles was actually revealed just in time before the big tennis event actually started. And the favorite was revealed to be none other than the Number One seed, Roger Federer.

Federer was indeed revealed to be the favorite to win the 2010 Wimbledon Tennis Men’s Singles. Thus, he must have become more interested about winning just before the start of the tournament.

The Swiss was actually revealed to be 11/8 bet with the famous VC Bet. And sports betting fans might have just backed the odds.

Next in line was known to be the current No. 1 in the world Rafael Nadal. The champion was at 9/4. Then next in the betting was Britain’s star Andy Murray. The player was at 8/1.

Federer was also reported to have the advantage with own defense that could start on the Centre Court against Colombian Alejandro Halla. The player was beaten by Federer in straight sets on all four of their past matches. For some, Federer should not worry about his defense. But then he must still be careful particularly when reaching the last 16 when he could come up against Thomas Berdych. The French Open semi-finalist has ability to make Federer feel challenged. Berdych was revealed to be at 40/1 to win the tournament.

While Nadal was believed to be someone also with good chances of winning however must be cautious as he could find himself greatly troubled in case he comes up against John Isner, the big serving American 24th seed. Nadal has found it hard to be against genuine serve and volleyers like Isner.

Well, the 2010 Wimbledon tennis tournament already started last June 21. However, it will run for two weeks. So we still actually have to wait for the outcome of the tournament.
