England’s 2014 World Cup Odds Revealed

World Cup 2014Fabio Capello’s England failed to make it in the second round of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Capello’s national football team was not able to advance to the next round because of not winning against Germany in the second round.

And because of England’s missed opportunity in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, bookmakers have given Capello’s side the longest odds for a World Cup. Just after England not grabbing the opportunity, bookmakers given odds of 16/1 to England to actually win the next World Cup which will be in 2014.

England had a bad start in this year’s FIFA World Cup and just failed to somehow make up for it as everyone continues in the big football event. Capello’s side did not make it in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. And because of the poor showing, the well-known William Hill revealed to have priced the Three Lions at the lengthy odds.

“After the debacle of their campaign this time we need to offer such odds to have any hope of attracting any one to back them,” spokesman Graham Sharpe said.

And the spokesman conceded that it was the biggest price that the sports betting firm has produced for the Capello’s national football team. But then with the price, the firm wished any one will back the team.

While to lift the cup, Brazil got the 7/2 odds as favorite. Then Argentina got the 6/1 odds. Spain got the odds of 9/2.

Odds for the other home nations were also revealed. Sports betting fans might be interested of the odds for Scotland, 250/1. Or they might consider odds for the Republic of Ireland, 100/1.

Brazil will be hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup. It will be Brazil’s first time since 1950 to actually host the big football event.
