Chelsea at Odds of 6/4 to End the Season Without Trophy

The popular William Hill has actually revealed recently the odds in regards to the future of Chelsea after the team’s Champions League game against Inter Milan. However, this move by the sports betting firm indeed made Chelsea fans feel really troubled about the future of their favorite team, the odds just made them really wonder if the team will really end the season without a trophy.

Odds of 6/4 were revealed, for Chelsea to actually end the season without a trophy, and this despite the team staying in the second place in the Premier League for some time.

The famous team was actually beaten 1-0 at the Stamford Bridge by Inter Milan, which too bad sent the team out of the competition 3-1.

“Ancelotti could be just the latest in a long line of Chelsea bosses who have paid for failure in Europe by losing their job,” said spokesman Graham Sharpe of William Hill.

While Jose Mourinho was unveiled to be at odds of 14/1 then to actually make a surprise come back at the Stamford Bridge as manager.

And Mourinho’s current team, Inter Milan, was revealed to be at 4/1 as third favorite to win the Champions League just behind Barcelona, the favorite, and Manchester United which only ended as runner up last year. Barcelona as favorite was listed then at odds of 9/4 and the last year’s runner up at 7/2.

The odds often mean everything to the fans. And these fans actually often become so troubled because of odds of certain bookmakers, which should actually be not the case. Fans should not really be so considerate of the odds of such bookmakers. It is the winning capacity or potential of the team they’re up that will matter the most.
