Book Opened For Rooney’s Return

Yes, a book was recently opened by famous sports betting firm William Hill just for the return to action of England star striker Wayne Rooney. The striker got ankle problems and now is still suffering from these problems.

The odds were revealed to be 10/3 for the PFA Player of the Year to actually make an appearance at the Stadium of Light on the weekend. While the odds for the player to be on the pitch during the final home fixture of United against Stoke City were unveiled to be 5/4.

But the England fans might just be hoping that Rooney does not play again until the Three Lions start getting ready for the World Cup against Mexico. Odds for him to just appear next in such a game were revealed to be 8/11.

“Everyone is desperate to believe that Rooney will be fit for the World Cup but uncertainty about when he will play his next game is making everyone wonder whether he will be,” said Graham Sharpe of William Hill.

Well, everyone must be really waiting and wondering when the Manchester United hitman will return to action after suffering from ankle problems. And may be this has also something to do with Manchester United’s ongoing success in the English Premier League. However, it is not yet that clear when the player will be able to come back in perfect form.

But we all should just pray for the best, that Rooney will actually be able to return just in time for an event where he must be present. May the England star striker be well, that finally he’d be on a play. Rooney is a kind of player not worth missing for long. He is a one great and very talented star striker, player.
