Benitez Departed From Liverpool

After Liverpool only came seventh in the English Premier League a lot of football fans actually pondered on the possibility of Rafael Benítez departing from the club. And they even became more into such possibility when betting markets on issue on Benitez’s departure from the club were indeed opened.

Well, the English Premier League club owners have been just so serious about assessing the performance of managers and players for once in a while. And just at the end of this last season, it was just not very surprising to know that the coach has to go.

Liverpool only came seventh in the English Premier League and it most likely mattered. Benitez was just allowed to depart and go straight into a two-year contract with Inter Milan.

It was then decided that English manager Roy Hodgson will replace Benítez as coach. Hodgson, who actually has been very known for leading the Swiss national football team to the 1994 World Cup last 16, must be the perfect one for the Liverpool owners to actually replace Benitez.

Liverpool owners must be right for choosing Hodgson as he has been also into English Premier League for some time. He has been recognized for managing Fulham FC for three years and then for leading the club to the last season’s Europa League final.

So with the confirmation on Hodgson’s appointment by the Liverpool owners, we wonder who will replace Hodgson at Fulham.
