Andy Murray’s Latest Odds Revealed

Andy MurrayAndy Murray is no doubt one of the bookmakers’ choices when it comes to the 2010 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award and the prestigious title at Melbourne Park.

Now, Sky Bet actually offers Murray at odds of 2/1 to win the 2010 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. He was previously at odds of 4/1 to win the said award.

Sky Bet indeed slashed his odds from 4/1 to 2/1 after the Scotsman made it against Rafael Nadal, the World No. 2. In the Australian Open quarter-finals, he was able to beat Nadal who was in good form then, we believe.

The online bookmakers also supported Murray’s event against Marin Cilic, rating him at odds of 1/4 to beat the said player in the semi-finals. Also, in connection to the title at the Melbourne Park, the online bookmakers set him at odds of 11/8 to bring it home.

“Given that a British male hasn’t won a Grand Slam since Fred Perry in the thirties, if Murray wins at Melbourne Park, he is sure to go odds-on for Sports Personality of the Year”, said Sky Bet spokeswoman Helen Jacob.

Murray’s closest rival for the award must be  who has recently managed to make not only one but four goals for Manchester United and England in a game against Hull City. He has actually been trying to lead the club and the country to victory this 2010.

Will Murray win the 2010 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award? And will he also be able to make it at Melbourne Park and bring home the prestigious title?Eventually, we will know the answer for these questions. But for now, let us enjoy the excitement that all these betting bring.
