Agent Confirmed Cissokho Not Leaving Lyon

The previous summer, Lyon defender Aly Cissokho was reported to be all prepared to sign for the Rossoneri and now he is once again on the reports being seriously linked with a move to San Siro with Milan being reported as ready to make a €15 million bid in January just to have the defender. But the agent of Cissokho, Fabrizio Ferrari, confirmed that yes contrary to the reports, he has never stated that he wants to depart from Lyon. According to the agent, the defender has never said that he wants to leave the club.

For Ferrari, Cissokho will not be leaving Lyon. Fans who want the defender to stay can be relieved with such confirmation by Cissokho’s agent.

Ferrari said: “There is nothing with Milan. I also don’t believe that they are ready to make a €15m bid in January. With regard to the summer market, though, we’ll see. Aly holds no grudges about the past. There is a lot of interest around him right now, but he has never stated that he wants to leave Lyon.”

Fans who want the defender to stay can be relieved; Cissokho’s agent made confirmation on the Lyon defender’s true interest. The agent believed that Milan will not make a €15m bid in January just to have Cissokho. And though Milan will, the defender has never stated that he wants to leave Lyon. His true interest according to the agent was to stay with Lyon for as long as possible and at the time the agent talked about the issue, he can still be with the club.

But naturally, only Cissokho knows until when he can be with Lyon. Certain things must be considered and hopefully none will prevent him from staying with the club for long. We also hope for the best for Cissokho.
