2010 Valero Texas Open Golf Odds Revealed
The 2010 Valero Texas Open is about to take place and of course we want everyone to get really excited about it and so we unveil the 2010 Valero Texas Open odds set by bookmakers.
Odds of 11/1 were for Ernie Els as the favorite to win the Valero Texas Open at San Antonio this week. And odds of 16/1 were for Zach Johnson, winner in both 2008 and 2009, as the second favorite to make it in this week’s big event.
Els was made the favorite to win the Valero Texas Open most likely because he has already two great accomplishments in the tour this year. Els actually missed the cut last week at the Players Championship however kept the highest rank, thus he could simply win the said event.
While the US Masters Champion in 2007, Johnson, has won one or two tour events but for some not that significant. And Johnson has been at number 32 in the world for some time now, and has also been in not so good form while trying to get the year’s first top ten finish.
Other players will be present too in the event just like for example Australian Adam Scott. And the odds for this player were revealed to be 25/1. Currently at 43rd and just not in good form as well. But he has been actually making sharp ball strikes and this is something to consider.
Sergio Garcia will actually be in the event as well however the player only has odds of 33/1. In the early stages of a big tournament recently, Garcia did well and if he’d just do same thing in the event of this week, he’d surprise everyone by beating others like Els, Johnson and Scott. In the rankings, the Spaniard has already slipped to 27th.
